[MCPE-45038] Skin not loading on main menu, or taking too long to do so

When Minecraft opens the skin on the main menu the skin is supposed to show up right up or after some seconds but on the Village & Pillage update it seems like there’s a bug which the skin stays loading and takes a long time to load or never shows up.

As of Beta 1.13.0.17 I still am having issues with loading my skin. Sometimes it takes just a few minutes to load, other times it never loads even if I wait for a few hours.

Seeing the same problem on 1.14.0.1 beta.

Also problems with invisible chests(player 2 displays fine), crashing when 2nd player is playing for more than 20 minutes, invisible armor and bows and arrows

I was able to switch accounts because I share my console, then go back to mine, then click on profile really quick, then I chose my packs, and clicked on a skin. It actually let me switch. Now I have it set to Steve and it isn't freaking out. Fingers crossed!

I have the same problem. I found if I click the profule button and then use the RB button to move to a different skin the profile loads.

This happens to me as well on my Xbox. The only solution I found to stop it is uninstall Minecraft and reinstall it again. Even then, it comes back again the next time I log on

I found that one way to fix it (but may take some time) is to constantly restart the game. It takes about 15-30 tries, but it’s faster than reinstalling.

I would like to add that it's not a problem only on iOS like the ticket says. It happen also on Android.

And sometime, it let us join the game, but every items we had are not showing in our inventory. When it happen, i close the game, reopen, rejoin the server and all my items are back. Quite annoying

the skin is loaded for a couple seconds, and then a menu pops up which says loading resource packs, and after that the skin doesn't work at all.

This is also happening to me except in the 1.16.0 update when I used Bionics Cape method which requires different files in the persona folder, and i think it broke the Minecraft Skin Menu?? I think that is the problem?

This happens to me in 1.19.71. sometimes it works, other times it keeps loading and I have to restart
