I have a world I made before the update and it had the village then I put the same seed: -200889213 when I created a new world after the update and the whole village had just gone. Is this a new feature? Happens in all game modes.
P.s there is a natural sand flat cross in what was the sand village part of the double village. So you know they are the same seed/world.

Maybe the generation system didn't change. You need to know that old villages from older worlds don't dissapear, but if you use /locate village, it wont recognize it as a village, just a building with villagers. So only if you open that saved old world you'll see the old village. If you enter the same seed, it will just generate the same world but without any old village
they usaly change how world generation hapens between updates but it's weird because it's the same biome
