As you go to break a block there are no little pieces breaking off or pixels turning color on the blocks, it simply disappears with no sound and then I can’t acquire the block. Things like not being able to press buttons for doors and opening storage bins.

Yup i just play by myself no multiplayer or other people’s worlds. I have been logging out every 5 to 10 minutes it seems. At some point it will stop breaking the blocks normally, at that time What I’ve figured out is that the game is not saving anything past that point(I’ve built for an hour past that point and lost all the progress) so I log out, close app and then restart sometimes more than once.
A key trigger for this bug is using trap doors or stairs. Once the game has stopped breaking blocks a bunch of stairs or trap doors placed in the last few minutes, shifts 90 degrees. Very frustrating after completing a staircases roof design. I’ve been working around it cuz I love the game but I cannot wait for them to fix this. I can’t play for more than a few minutes at a time.
Hello again, so I had an update available to me today and it said it fixed some bugs and other issues I wasn’t aware of. That was great and I was waiting for it to correct the stair and trapdoor rotation problem... it didn’t correct it, I went about 45 minutes to an hour with no problem right after the update then everything went back to the way it was. Which is that items disappear (that have been placed)due to the autosave, this is also when the stairs change. It’s painstaking but I can build in creative with this issue about 50% time but I can’t even walk through a door or open chests so survival mode is completely off limits until it’s fixed. Can you help me?

Check to see if you have permission to do those things (unless you are the original creator, or operator of that world). It always works for me, and I'm on the same device you are (not literally)...
