I can also confirm this is occurring, even in Singleplayer. If I have a dispenser firing wind charges automatically, and I fly further away, the dispenser's clicking noise (which shouldn't even be playing because there's an item in the dispenser) never fades out as intended.
This has been fixed in Preview 1.21.0.25
Please close as INVALID.
After further testing. I have come to the conclusion that this report is, in fact, INVALID.
The reason is because the pack I was using may have been outdated, or lacked the scripts or json required to handle reflections, which ultimately resulted in the strange artifacts shown in the video. I'm now using Poggy's Luminance Dreams PBR pack, and everything works fine. I'll be sure to use the latest pack version when a future deferred technical preview feature comes out before I determine if there is actually a bug or not next time.
I always thought this was intentional because Bedrock Edition likes to be Bedrock Edition..
This also affects 1.20.80.20 Preview.
It also occurs on iOS (in fact, it occurs on all platforms)
After testing just now in 1.20.80.20 Preview, this issue seems to have been resolved. I am no longer able to reproduce the bug.
I am also experiencing this issue.
Hi. Sorry for the very late response. It seems this issue is no longer occurring on my end.
This happened with some other commands such as /music, /particle, and /fog, but I always thought this was intentional since having the list means more space the game would take up..
I have recently checked, this affects every trapdoor in the game: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, crimson, warped, and iron.
It seems that the North facing trapdoor is using the South facing trapdoor's bottom texture, and vise versa.
Please close as Invalid. I was in Peaceful Mode. That would explain the strange behavior.
It still happens to this day. I’m currently on version 1.16.40.
All I did was stand on top on an anvil, then used the command “/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~-1 ~ air 0 replace anvil 0”, and nothing happened. Like before it still returns an error “0 blocks filled.”
So sorry for not getting back to you..
That spawn event mean that they will shoot faster when a player is very close to them
What kind of effect were you trying to apply? Are you applying to the correct target (@s will not work in command blocks)?
This has never happened to me, but the game does take too long to load. It took 20 seconds for me just to go to a white screen.
The only time I got that error is either when I quit the game right after I accidentally started it up again after closing the software (similar to your issue), or when the game freezes or is very laggy (to the point where you can barely move) during gameplay.
This has never happened to me (The "Software Crash" Error), and I have the same device (My account was only used for free downloads).
If your software is still crashing, try uninstalling the software (through Data Management in Settings) and re-install the game (make sure the game card is not in the slot when uninstalling).
@William Nash: Did you check if your ringer is on (the one that usually silences notifications and alerts)? If this doesn't work then I do not know...
Bedrock does not support that functionality. That feature hasn't been implemented in bedrock edition...
@silentwisperer Some of the particles you listed were not implemented into bedrock edition yet...
I did some testing in the latest full release, and the specific sound that was playing regardless of distance when a dispenser fired a wind charge is "block.click" (I believe dispensers play this sound at a high pitch when there's no items to fire). I did this by continuously stopping the "random.click" sound and the "block.click" sound. The latter actually stopped the sound.
