When I boot the game up it doesn't go past a black screen and it freezes the switch for a while. When it finally unfreezes and I try to close the game, the "Closing Software" screen stays on for an extended period of time and then the "The software has closed because an error occurred" error message shows up.
This is extremely frustrating because the last bug that affected my Realm left the game unplayable from March 2019 up until late 2019. I booted the game up 2 weeks ago, was able to get in, renewed my Realm, WITH MONEY OF COURSE because I thought I'd finally be able to enjoy the game again, and now I can't get into the game. AGAIN.
Either fix this issue or give me my money back. This is ridiculous.

This has never happened to me, but the game does take too long to load. It took 20 seconds for me just to go to a white screen.
The only time I got that error is either when I quit the game right after I accidentally started it up again after closing the software (similar to your issue), or when the game freezes or is very laggy (to the point where you can barely move) during gameplay.
