I have a railroad that is not fully finished construction. I sometimes use a minecart to test the finished portion of the railway. However, if the minecart derails on a north-south direction railway, it turns to be towards east/west.

This issue also stills exists in the 1.14.2 hotfix and the 1.14.30.51 beta so Yang, be sure to update the affected versions.
It seems this issue has actually been fixed in the 1.14.3 hotfix. I was not aware that 1.14.3 came out because my beta copy of the game didn't update. I'm not sure why 1.14.3 released so fast I imagine it's because the Nether Update snapshots are coming and Minecraft Bedrock will be going into version 1.15. But, the footage of the issue I posted, still exists in 1.14.3 so I've made a report based on my footage. MCPE-63040
Both of my tickets were resolved as duplicates to this issue and were "confirmed" so, this should also be confirmed...
EDIT: realized I said the same thing a year ago when my first ticket was resolved as a duplicate. This ticket status must be marked confirmed
