Description says it all- I just replaced a realm with a world which is supposed to allow all invited players 'op' privileges .. as this didn't work, I attempted to use the op command- at first the 'op' command was available to me but did not work. Now the op command is no longer available.
BTW you should checkout the startup screen on IOS .. because of the screen layout it is actually impossible for me to tell if i am using version 1.11.1 or 1.11.2 .. the last number is cut off by the rounded corner of the screen. Not sure if there's another way to check this ..
Tx,
-Mark

This is a change in behavior made more confusing by the ability to set the default permission of world guests to "op". You might consider adding a tunable which restores the original behavior- I'm sure I'm not the only customer who will be cancelling their realm subscription because of this.
Ahem, this is the case because of security reasons. However, I do not work for Mojang, and I'm not going to get into what could happen if permissions were added to Realms
As a workaround, you can try making all of your invited players Moderators in the Members tab of the Realm, I don't normally recommend doing it, but if you want everyone to be op, the closest you can get is making everyone you invite Moderators.
No worries - i discovered i can set up a bedrock server with whatever permissions i want. Thank you so much for your help!

This is intended. Privileges are not a feature in Realms.
Also, the latest version of Minecraft for iOS is 1.11.1, if the fourth 1 is cut off, try changing the safe screen area in video settings
