I can supply any information you'd like for this.  Am I doing something incorrectly?  If Linux servers are no longer supported, that's at least an answer..

No worries - i discovered i can set up a bedrock server with whatever permissions i want. Thank you so much for your help!

This is a change in behavior made more confusing by the ability to set the default permission of world guests to "op". You might consider adding a tunable which restores the original behavior- I'm sure I'm not the only customer who will be cancelling their realm subscription because of this.

I can't run any of these in my minecraft realm which is multiplayer implicitly .. the result is that friend guests of my realm are no longer able to place command blocks, and I cannot give them that ability ..

I've uploaded a video demonstrating the issue .. I'm not sure how to get you the datafiles for this world, but I'm willing to do so if you walk me through the steps.
