I've been playing Minecraft for the past several months with no issues, and yesterday when I logged on for the first time I was disconnected, so I reconnected and logged in with no problem. I then proceeded to play for about an hour and a half, I logged out once in the overworld and logged back in with no problems. I logged out again in the nether about an hour later and I can no longer connect to the server, the screen gets stuck on Generating world, Locating server. My friends are able to connect, and it shows me logging in to the game but my screen never loads or changes. Please help! this issue is affecting Minecraft on IOS as well, I cannot connect to either.
