Weird sensitivity on Windows 10 version compared to Java

The sensitivity is weird. I can play perfectly fine on Java, the sensitivity feels just fine. But when I get on the Windows 10 version, the sensitivity doesn't feel as precise. It feels like the sensitivity is on ice, is the best way I can describe it. Turning down the sensitivity helps, but it still doesn't feel as precise as the Java version. Why is this, and what can I do to fix it? It's driving me insane and I don't understand why the sensitivity would be any different at all. I've tried checking my settings and everything, it's not me.

Also affects 1.12.0.

I believe the difference between Bedrock and Java sensitivity is because Java uses raw mouse input, while Bedrock uses Windows Pointer Speed. For example, Bedrock sensitivity has mouse acceleration when the "enhance pointer speed" setting is enabled, but Java sensitivity does not (except in 1.14.3, which was a bug and was fixed).

When you say β€œit feels like the sensitivity is on ice”, do you mean that the mouse is too sensitive, moving things too quickly? Are you in windowed mowed or full screen?

I still feel this is a valid issue.

Accurate mouse input makes a big difference in PvP (as well as being convenient for all players) and I think this should be genuinely considered somewhere on the Minecraft Bedrock development team.

Accurate (raw) mouse input is an underrated but important feature for Minecraft Windows 10 Edition users/players. People can spend hundreds of dollars on gaming PC setups, but that doesn't matter when the mouse input doesn't work as it should (or in the least, as it does elsewhere).

This sounds like more of a feature request than a bug, so the appropriate place to pursue it would be feedback.minecraft.net.
