If a snowgolem cannot pathfind to a hostile mob, it will never attack that mob, or track its movement. This bug breaks most of the practical uses for the snowgolems, and affects multiple types on mob farms.
How to reproduce.:
1. in a standard world, go about 30 blocks into the air.
2. Summon a snowgolem on one blocks, and then a couple blocks away summon a creeper.
3. Since the snowgolem cannot walk towards the creeper, it will not attack.
4. If you connect the creeper platform, and the snowgolem platform, then it will attack like normal.

I can confirm this. I employed snow golems to speed up Silent's guardian farm in afk mode since the guardians get stuck trying to swim in the flowing waterย only to be heartbroken when the snow golems just stopped caring that there are hostile mobs in front of them. It is inconsistent as well since sometimes they will throw snowballs and sometimes they just sit there and don't care. I added a couple screenshots.
Can confirm on Version 1.11.4 for Windows 10 & Android
