Seed: Coastal Village (-1813740965); Survival Mode; Normal Difficulty; Infinite Size; world created after Beta v1.12.0.2.
When a player is riding in a boat which is moving in non-northerly direction, the player's hands/arms shake on screen, see attached video link: [redacted]. When the player exits the boat, the shaking stops.
This was not an issue in version 1.13.0.1.

For some reason, this bug triggers when I face east instead of north, but the information is still valid.
This report andΒ MCPE-48642Β are highly similar. Testing that I've done confirms that blocks can only be broken properly when the boat is facing directly east (the direction the boat faces when it's spawned by /summon). If the player rotates the boat in any direction other than directly east, the selection area is determined by adding the boat and player's longitude rotation (basically, if someone is facing 45 degrees left from east, the selection area will appear on the north side, double the rotation that they're actually facing).
If the player isn't facing in an easterly direction at all (regardless of the boat's rotation), the player's arms will shake. The block selection area will shake also, but the math that governs its position will attempt to continue. It only moves sporadically because the game thinks the player is turned too far while in a boat. Since the shake effect begins when turned any degree west, the game believes that the boat is facing east at all times, and attempts to correct the player's rotation by snapping it back to north or south (whichever direction the camera is closest to).
Can anyone confirm for 1.13.0.5? I don't experience this orΒ MCPE-48642Β anymore.

It looks like this has continued into 1.14 per the video here https://youtu.be/pO3czafiWBQ

I think it would be best to report the issue with placing blocks in the wrong place when riding a boat in a separate ticket, so we can track it properly.
