This affects all bedrock versions.
After playing on console edition of Minecraft then switching over to bedrock, I noticed that beef is not the same. In Console edition it is called steak when cooked but in bedrock edition it is called cooked beef. Please fix this by renaming cooked beef to steak so it will match the other versions of the game.

Not sure if this qualifies as a bug or one of the many differences between console and bedrock. To be safe though, I would post this idea on https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us Have a great day! 🙂
WAI Steak was renamed to Cooked Beef. This was a change added in the Pocket Edition Alpha stage 0.16.0.
Steak was renamed Cooked Beef not long after Better Together, as a small QOL change due to all other meats going from Raw to Cooked, but Beef went from Raw Beef, to Steak.
This is correct; the item is called Cooked Beef in Bedrock Edition and Steak in the Legacy Console Edition.
