after my dog entered the nether and I tried to enter it won’t let me through the nether and crashes every time I try, this is also my only way home on a world I have spent a lot of time on

I had a similar bug while I was walking with my dogs. When I entered the portal, my game crashed, and 2 of my three dogs are missing. If I tell them to sit before going in, everything works fine though.
