I cant believe i forgot to check that thank you

The same thing happened to me my cat walked into the nether and now every time I walk into he nether my game crashes

I also have this same issue ever since I updated to 1.9 on the switch. My world isn’t even that big (17mb) but ever since the update happened the area around my base has horrible lag.

Seems it is, but it never did it in the past versions.
