Uninstalling Minecraft Does Not Offer To Save Worlds

Please add the offer to save worlds when uninstalling.

Background: I tried the minecraft beta which updated my version of Minecraft without affecting my saved worlds. But beta minecraft was unplayable so I opted out. The opt-out text told me to uninstall and re-install. Trouble is when i uninstalled all my saved worlds were wiped out. Very frustrating.

Try to option not save the application. You can change in to saving the files in the world.

Im sorry I could not understand your comment. Please restate it.

You can change it in options, profile and change the application to external, so that your world doesn't disappear

Saving worlds should be automatically offered not something the user has to figure out AFTER losing a hundred hours of building.

The BETA enrollment advises users to back up their worlds. Any change to this is a feature request/suggestion which needs to go on the various suggestions pages.

Saving work is a basic requirement of an application. Calling it a feature request and invalidating the bug is totally inappropriate. I would reprimand any software engineer who attempted this under my management.
