SETUP
Find/create a shallow (3-6 blocks deep) hole that's 4x4 wide.
Grab a boat and place it on the edge of the water.
In a 2x2 hole in the middle place magma blocks.
Drive the boat into the bubble column and look down.
Start spamming the Interact key/button (what you used to get into the boat) while the boat skinks.
P.S. you might have to try a couple of times to get the desired result. You'll know when it works by your teleporty (real word trust me on this 😉) walking behavior.
EXPECTATION VS REALITY
Expected
You get pulled down and leave like usual.
Reality
You turn into a teleporty (again, trust me) mess.
NOTES
Done in creative.
I will try to get video, but if you can do it yourself and record it, that would be very great.
Done with an oak boat, I don't know about the other types of boats or how they interact with this bug.

@KillerbeeNL Yes, it does explain this. Though from my experience MCPE-52957 only happens when I do this exact setup, I will experiment and see what triggers this on my end.
