Currently Minecraft is the only unplayable game on our Switch. When launching, see the black Switch "click" animation, then a white screen, then it crashes with [!] Software closed because an error occurred. There are 3 users on this switch, same behavior on all accounts. Tried creating a new user - this one shows the Mojang splash screen, then tries to start the menu screen but then crashes with the same error screen. Running physical media. Tried deleting software and redownloading, no good. Tried buying form eshop and running without chip, same issue. Tried removing SD card and deleting SW to force install on system memory, same issue. ALL other SW on this switch is working perfectly (this is a brand new V2 switch updated to latest 1.9.1). Minecraft is the ONLY SW not working, and it is affecting ALL users, so I suspect something systemic is going on.

Any way we could get Mojang's attention on this issue? It seems like an awfully big problem that really shouldn't be overlooked.

I'm having the same problem. After the 1.13 update every time I create a world it shuts down and gives me an error.
I can't even give Nintendo support an error code cause it doesn't give me one! This is the ONLY game on my switch that is like this!

I think one of these might have the problem
1. Save Data Corrupted
2. Too many Resource Packs on Cached Data
3. Too many worlds
4. All the above might cause crash when launching the game

I’ve checked on the Switch, no corrupted save data. When I had access to the game once on 1.13’s launch, I deleted the resource packs I wasn’t using. And I only have 4 worlds in total across all users. After playing it once on 1.13 it’s since continued crashing after 5 minutes of black screen.

I think to me is that last time I tried downloading my world from my realm and it was about to import it to my worlds and it failed then it doesn’t wanna launch the game...

Ok, so I'm not the only one having this problem. I even contacted Nintendo and took some troubleshooting steps. Nothing seemed to fix it. The Nintendo employee suggested that I try contacting Mojang on the issue because Minecraft is the only software of mine having this issue.
