Hello. This problem is very old and anyways it keeps happening. Right now I can play Minecraft but without my worlds (I had to delete them and save them in the NS online Service). If I download my data, the game crashes on the beggining screen. In the past, it crashed when I wanted to join ANY world or when I was leaving one. It was temporaly fixed, but I keep having this problem. Thanks.

Terrible that they're not taking care of this. Minecraft on switch is too good to be true. Mojang won't take care of it and neither will Nintendo. The save file size is too large, and the switch is erroring out because it's taking too long to load, and neither company cares.

This has been a HUGE pain for me for the past many months. Each time we get a new update on the switch, I think it's gonna get fixed. But it doesn't. I just wanna be able to play Minecraft on my switch. I'm at the point where I don't even want online to work, I just want the game in general to work so that I can at least play it, even if it's only by myself. I haven't been able to play the game at all on my switch for idk how many months now, I lost count after 5. All I want is for them to just fix it so that us switch players can join in on the fun. Nevermind the new stuff, just make it so that we can play too cause this is getting ridiculous. Also, idk if its itst digital copies that are crashing, or if all copies are crashing. Mine is a digital copy just for reference. I really hope thia gets addressed and fixed soon.

I get it whenever I go to save and quit or just at any random moment I'm trying to build something. 9 time out of ten I end up having to re build and or recollect the items I need because they disappeared with the shulker box I placed before the game crashed.
It's really making the game unplayable especially if I'm trying to do builds with friends.

@Nikólaos Gollini when you say it crashes on the loading screen, do you mean you get a black screen? Some users report that Minecraft eventually loads if you let the black screen sit for several minutes.

Completely unplayable currently for me, restarted switch, everything. Load Survival game, Game crashes. Restart game, 10 steps to bed to sleep, Crashes. Reload, run to house and open door, crashes. Please fix. I can not play for 30 sec without a crash. Never experienced this until the 1.14.6 update

Agreed. It happens to me a lot. Now I can't even get of at all without it saying software error and shutting out to the switch menu. I also pay for a realm that I can't get into. This issue needs to be fixed or ill take a refund. Also this does not seem to be the same issues as above but this is where the issue was redirected

For those still having this issue, please make sure your Switch firmware is updated to the most recent version. The Switch OS version 10 brought a significant improvement to the black loading screen issue (MCPE-62708), so it may improve this one as well.

Mine is up to date. Everything was working well until nether update. Then it takes a good amount of time upon start up and then it shows the world for a split second then kicks me, says software error. Does it on my realm and on my own little worlds
