Hello, Minecraft is not working on my Nintendo switch on my account, it keeps saying software was closed due to error, and it’s doing it on my account won’t let me on at all, i have another account it works but gets the same error once in a while, I don’t want it to crash too, and all the accounts has the Nintendo switch online that I paid for, I bought it especially for Minecraft, I have email Mojang and they answered back but won’t help,
I have talked to a representative of Nintendo they can’t fix it, need help ASAP. Thank you!

It does load eventually just the black screen is extremely long, almost a minute. I'm about to make another report about major problems in the end.

My kids had this same problem connecting to our world on a Windows 10 computer using their Switch consoles. One booted up Minecraft fine and only crashed occasionally (with the software closed due to an error black screen), while the other took ages to load Minecraft, hanging at a black screen both before and after the Nintendo Switch logo screen appeared. And even after it finally loaded, the game crashed at seemingly random times.

I cannot get past the blank screen on my file. I'm essentially locked out for good.
Waiting did not work for me unfortunately.

I'm getting the same thing. No amount of waiting is long enough, as it will error out to the main home screen

You might be able to play on a separate save file. It's not a solution, but better than not being able to play at all.

I am having a similar issue aswell, my game gets locked into a black screen, then it crashes, such as what you are saying here. Did you try searching for corrupted data or redownloading the game? (Both did not work for me)
I cannot even reach the loading screen to start the title screen.
I hope I don't have to wipe my hundreds upon hundreds of hours of playtime.
This is on Nintendo Switch aswell.
