Crash after updating to 1.14.0.1

I just updated my Minecraft with the Beta version 1.14.0.1, when I tried opening the game I couldn't, it crashed, and keeps crashing every time I try to open it, I don't get to see the loading screen.

Let me know if this is a known issue and I am misinformed.

Update: The crash only occurs while opening the game if both WiFi and data are turned on, if you turn them off the game will launch normally. You can turn them on again when the game has already launched.

I'm having this problem too. A similar issue happened several months ago - MCPE-48313 - and it was nearly 2 MONTHS before the issue was solved. I can't wait that long 😞

It has happened to me a few times. 1. When I sleep in a bed and 2. When I start up the game and 3. When I exit a world. I hope mojang fix this.

I'm having the same issue. It just either gives a white screen then crashes, or shows the loading screen for a split second then crashes. I've tried clearing the cache and all those snake oil procedures, but as "snake oil" implies, it didn't work. After the crash, the phone starts to hiccup for a few seconds....

Extra info:

Phone: A5 2017; OS: Lineage OS (Android 9); Stable version worked fine, but 1.14.0.1 crashes.

I just updated to beta just now same thing keeps happening to me but when I turn off my wifi or mobile data it does not crash anymore.Β

Im also having the same problem and I just got the game please fix it is unfair that I just got the game and I can't even play itΒ Β πŸ‘ŽπŸ˜ž

At one point I was able to get on without turning off anything. Now it is back to where I have to turn off both wifi and data. I can't keep those both off unfortunately. Does anyone know when or if this bug is being handled?

It is also crashing on Xbox after update.

This happened to me a lot. What I did was I signed out of the Beta program and rejoined. However, I'd only recommend doing this if your worlds are saved externally. If they're saved in the application, they may be deleted forever

You are not the only one experiencing this annoying problem. Something similar happened in July and wasn't fixed untill the middle of August πŸ™ƒ
