Minecraft stuck on a black screen upon start-up after recent update.

After the recent update, Minecraft has become completely unplayable on my Nintendo Switch. When I try to open the game, I am welcomed to a black screen which will eventually end in the software closing due to a error. The cloud save won't retrieve the save data and froze on 49%. When I decided to check for corrupted data, my system crashed, multiple times. When I redownload the software, and checked for corrupted data again, the crashing no longer occurs, however the game still is unplayable.
Everything else on my Switch is working normally. Is my game gone for good?

The error code I was receiving when my system was crashing from the corruption check is 2001-0106. However, I am now unable to replicate this because now because the corruption check is saying there is no issues after re-downloading the game... Hopefully this issue can be resolved.

I made a short (poorly done) recording of this issue, but I seemingly cannot make any attachments.

All I can really say now is, if you are having this issue, you can still play on a different account.

Redownloading, Removing and replacing Micro SD cards and the corruption check does not resolve this issue.

The recent update FINALLY resolved this issue. Thank goodness...

Seems like I just encounted a new issue with this update...

Every free texture pack that came preinstalled with the Nintendo Switch version needs to be purchased. (Including the Mario Texture pack and others). I have NO idea what is happening with the stability of this game...

Glad to hear your crash issue is resolved.
If you are still having trouble with the texture packs, the comments on MCPE-58005 may help.
