Before, in third person, the hand of the player would hit to the direction the player was looking at, but now it seems like the default direction is down, so no matter where you look while you hit, the hand will hit like you were looking at the floor.
This bug is only visual, it affects the hitting animation of the arm in third person mode (and I guess other players too), but this does not affect gameplay at all.

Something kind of off-topic that annoys me about this bug is that it's in super smash bros ultimate as one of the taunts.
I've included the fixed animation in MCPE-47940.
Thank you for your report!

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.

If I switch to third person view, I can still break blocks that are in front of the player. Could you add more information about what the issue is, and what is expected please?
Also, does this impact gameplay at all?
