My realm keeps rolling back when everyone logs off, and it becomes idle.
The next time someone logs in, it will have rolled back a certain amount of time.
Almost like an entire realm backup worth of time back.
It rolls back everything, from inventories, players, and world changes.
This happens almost every time the realm seems to become idle, when no one is on.
Otherwise it keeps on working fine. So maybe every time it goes "to sleep" or "shuts down" when not in use?
I can test more if anything more is needed from me.
I will try to figure out exactly how much time it rolls back, and if I can trigger it on command.

Same here. Happens for all players, and on both switch, ipad and windows 10.
When I logged on this morning, all my UI settings were reset, and i was back 8000 blocks from home, and could spend an hour running back for the third time.
At first i thought it was my own fault for shutting my phone off without logging out (something that have never been an issue before) but the same thing happens when I log out properly.

This happened to me as well since the patch. It only used the backup (every 30 min). If I logout say minute 29, I lost all 29 minutes of progres.
I think i fixed it by doing the following:
Download your world (realm owner)
Log into the Singleplayer version of your realm
Log out again
Upload the Singleplayer world to your Realm
Cheers!

This is also happening on my realm since the update 1.13, every time I log in I lose the progress made in the previous session. Completely ridiculous!

I am still having this issue, even after testing many different things.
I tested closing the realm, and starting it again. The issue STILL took place.
I tested it with downloading and replacing the world. The issue still took place.
I tested it with playing for shorter periods of time. The issue still took place.
I am quite bummed; as this basically makes realms un-usable unless I want to sit idle for 30min+ before logging off.

Ironically, I wonder if daylight savings time change helped this bug, or made it worse.

Same thing. It does not save any progress. Log in, place block, log off. Upon immediately logging in, the new block will still be there.
In 5-15 minutes its gone and reverted.
This is the fault of realm servers, and they wont even comment on here.
They'll probably ban me for complaining and lock all these bug reports as "un reproducible"
