Trading with a villager on Minecraft Bedrock: Realms (this glitch does not occur on a singleplayer world) will make the item you just traded for randomly disappear in your inventory. For example, trading emeralds for an enchanting book will trade away the emeralds as normal but the enchantment book will vanish in your inventory.

We've not been able to reproduce this on a realm so its possible the issue was transient or has been fixed in a subsequent update.
If this is still occuring for you please upload instructions on how to reproduce it (if you were doing anything special before trading with the villagers), for example some actions such as making a cake can cause later items to get thrown from the player rather than placed in the inventory.
