Parts of chunks disappear when viewed at a horizontal + vertical angle

Hello,

the issue still persists in latest version v1.16.40 (xbox one x).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dig the long stairs downwards
2. go up and down, look down

Observed Results:
At a certain distance, the whole chunk starts to disappear (you can see in the attached video)

Expected Results:
The chunk should not disappear, it only happens in the vertical direction (you can see in the attached video).
This issue does not occur horizontally.

This is happening everywhere.
It is not related to a specific seed or coordinates.

This does not happen horizontally or vertically. It's happening only obliquely.
