In my resource pack, I have multiple textures/skins for one mob, but they only spawn in with one everytime.

Something that I enjoy doing is remaking COD zombie maps into MC. A few months ago I made a zombie map with it's own add-on (behavior pack and resource pack). In the resource pack I included custom zombie villager textures for all 6 types of zombie villagers (zombie_villager, zombie_farmer, zombie_smith, zombie_librarian, zombie_butcher, and zombie_priest). To my delight, whenever I would play the map, I would see different zombie villagers spawn in so it had variety. I took a break for a while and recently got back to making another map with another resource pack that would use the same custom textures as the previous one. I literally copied and pasted the textures from the old resource pack to the new one and added a few more sounds and textures, but I noticed that the zombie villager custom textures did not show in-game with the new resource pack as they did before. Just like how a cat or a horse can spawn into the world with a random texture each time, that was how the zombie villager textures would work in the previous pack, but now they only spawn in with one custom texture like a regular zombie.  However when I went on the old map with the old resource pack, the zombie villager textures were still random as originally intended. I'm confident this bug considering it works fine on my previous map, but if there is a way to fix this I would like to know it. I've tried going into both the resource pack and behavior pack to see if I can get that randomness in textures again, but I've had no success. If there is any way to get zombie villagers to spawn in with a random texture again it would be great to know. Thank you in advance!

it probably is loding all at once you just cant see them cause they are stacked upon each other.

if you have a lot of textures for a singal mob, minecraft will put all of them or (usually) one texture on that mob.

Yeah that's my issue now, but that wasn't the case before. Before all 6 textures would be present on multiple zombie villagers, but now only 1 shows

all  zombie villagers count as one zombie villager now.

I appreciate your responses. So then just to confirm, there is now NO WAY to have different skins for mob like before through a resource pack?

I don't see any zombie_villager.txt in the vanilla folder. Did it get removed or is it somewhere else?

All I can see are the textures for each zombie villager, which should allow a resource pack to change it.

This ticket can be closed. A few weeks ago I was able to resolve the issue through modification of the render controls in the resource pack. Thank you for the response!
