every once and a while my realm will kick all players online and set the world save back to the latest backup. I didn't put the operating system or platform because it is happening across many different ones, as far as the platforms I know of there is windows 10 (me), xbox, and mobile.

we are also having this issue. my husband is on xbox one and I am on windows 10. We get kicked off and when we log back in its reset to where we started earlier in the day.
