When using a dispenser to collect honey or water, it will drop the bottle unfilled, though using shears works in the dispenser.

What I noticed is that there needs to be an empty slot in the dispenser in order for the honey to be placed back into the dispenser. If all the slots are occupied, the honey will be ejected, even if there is a slot with just one honey bottle. It won't stack the honey bottles in the dispenser.

Are you sure the hive is full of honey? Can you provide pictures, video, reproduction steps, or world download?
