It turns out that it is simply not possible to make a two-way plane. When we activate it it moves from side to side randomly, unlike java edition. Several builds cannot be made in bedrrock edition, such as those on youtube videos: "https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yrjgwHCSYSM" (at 9:10), "https://m.youtube .com / watch? v = BhY9V-i59qM "(at 9:35)," https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j7dE3iUG9F0 "and" https://m.youtube.com/watch?v = 96jy6qdHMsc "(at 1:00). It has been a long time since this bug, and one detail is that in java edition the plane works.

They are two sticky pistons. However, the machine I showed
works in Java Edition, even with two sticky pistons, and on top of
that it can walk in two directions! In Bedrrock Edition, you can only
make flying machines that fly in one direction. This machine should
also work in Bedrrock edition, as well as in Java.
Really many machines stop working at BE due to the lack of this system. Several, doors, farms, flying machines, fantastic miners stop working without mentioning some ways of compacting circuits. As soon as I can I will vote for this poll.

Unfortunately I was able to verify that, in fact, the problem still persists in the current version 1.16.40.02. The machine is composed of 4 slime blocks, 2 observers and 2 sticky pistons and is activated by a tick on one of the observers.
• 1 - What happens is that, when it is activated, the machine moves in two directions in a random and unpredictable way;
• 2 - What should happen is that the machine moves in a straight and uniform way in the opposite direction from the observer used to activate it.
In Java Edition, this simple machine works perfectly because there is alternation between the sticky pistons: while one pulls, the other pushes. In Bedrrock Edition, it doesn't work as it should because that switchover doesn't exist.

If you are using two sticky pistons, it will not work. It is very weird but you will have to replace one of the sticky pistons with a non-sticky piston. The non-sticky piston will have to face the way you want it to go and the sticky piston will be the opposite way. i hope this was helpful.
