Both the trident and crossbow have a few issues when in VR immersive mode:
Starting with the trident, the item has an odd placement, especially when charging a throw, as the item is floating in mid-air very far away from where the hand is supposed to be.
The crossbow is also held in an odd way, as if the limb and string were being held like a handle. {A more preferable way would have the bow horizontally on top of the hand, much like in normal play).
The crossbow also suffers from the normally invisible offhand drawing back the crossbow, yet the hand is very far away from the item itself.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete.
