Issues with login and skins (Switch)

I've had issues with skins and login since the previous version, but on this version, it has gotten worse.

Now, each time I open the game, I have to log in to my Microsoft account.

I click the button, then a screen asking whether I want to save any purchase on the device or on the account appears. When I choose any of both, a link and a code appears. I enter the code on my computer. Then, I have to press B on the Switch, and it takes me back to the second screen (the one about the purchases). I click B again and it takes me to the main screen and I'm logged in to my account.

The problem is I have to do the same process each time I open the game, and I'm really tired of doing it.

The other issue is that my skins don't load. A text reading "Failed to load character (number)" appears.

Am I the only one with this issues? What can I do? Please fix this, Mojang.

note: I've also tried pressing the Clear Account Sign In Data but it doesn't work. When I press it and accept, the screen dissapears and the third or fourth button appears selected.

*EDIT: - I've also tried restarting the console, checking for corrupt data, reinstalling the game, but neither of them solve the issue.

I have the same problem.

Me too and I need to delete and create one more time the skin what I've created with the skin creator in game. And too each time what I open the game.

Having the exact same issues with not completing sign in and also purchases missing from switch account. The game is unusable at current state. What on earth happened?

It has been happening to me since the recent update. I can't access my skins, texture packs, Even coins Do not show up anywhere Even though I am logged in to the Microsoft account. Only the texture packs that I had stored on the switch are still accessible. However when I use the cell phone edition all my stuff is still there and accessible.

Having the same issue here, marketplace purchases vanished from my account on the switch version so i tried logging out and back in, now i cant log in properly, could it be an issue with the servers? I really hope a fix is found soon.

Hi Kristin, thanks for the information.

I went to account.microsoft.com and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong in my account. Every email has been verified, and I even tried adding my phone number as contact information. I also looked in the other tabs, but nothing is out of place.

I logged on to my Switch, closed the game, opened it again, and nothing has been fixed.

Any updates on this issue? I'm still experiencing it, and it's been more than a month. There's nothing wrong with my account, as i can still sign in on Android just fine, the sign in just doesnt seem to work on switch!
