Graphics Glitch

Recently, I got a code to redeem Minecraft for the PC as a Christmas present. I've played the game before and I have never seen this glitch. I type in the code in the Microsoft Store and the game downloads. The one thing I had never done was access a sever, so that was the first thing I did. I saw the glitch for the first time. I thought it was just a bug in the server, so I left and made my first world. There is was again. This glitch is extremely annoying and frustrating, taking away from the whole game experience. I almost regret asking for this now. What the heck is going on? Fix this.

Problems like this have occurred from time to time in the past, but as far as I'm aware there are currently none outstanding. This kind of error can be the result of a corrupted download, or a resource pack. I would suggest removing any resource packs first to see if one of them is causing the problem. If that doesn't help, you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Warning: Uninstalling will delete your worlds. If you want to keep any worlds, be sure to export them first. You will then be able to reinstall them by double-clicking the export file or using the import button (to the right of the Create New World button) after reinstalling the game.

Does this mean I have to buy it again?

Auldrick

You shouldn't have to buy it again. After you uninstall it, the Store page for Minecraft Windows 10 Edition will have an Install button. If the button says Buy instead, it means you're not on the same Microsoft Account you were on when you purchased it with the code. (You must use the same Microsoft Account in the game and in the Store.)

I suggest to try lower the Anti aliasing setting. This can be found in : Settings -> Video -> Anti-Aliasing

Please let us know if this fixed the issue for you.

Auldrick

Yes, definitely try that first. I forgot that that has caused this problem in the past.

Okay, I've lowered the Anti-Aliasing setting. It's gone now. Thank you!
