Turtles breed but do not lay eggs

First off it is extremely hard to find turtles. When they do spawn in its only one most the time. Im so tired of hearing people saying “ You have to follow the female turtle to its home beach ”. Yeah I get that! Tried it numerous times. But the turtle doesn’t have a clue where its home beach is. It just sits in one spot and does nothing after getting pregnant or gets into the water to just swim around and do nothing. I have followed one or two of them for an hour. They did nothing. Yeah. I get that its a turtle. They are slow. But that just isn’t the case here. Something is wrong. I can switch over and play on java feed them seagrass and they almost instantaneously start digging and laying eggs. But when I switch to Bedrock its simply just bugged. Please fix this. Ps4 player
