game crashes when losing internet connection

Phone: samsung A20E

minecraft version: 1.14.1.5

Starting the game with an internet connection and then loosing the internet connection during playing will crash the game. 

Now restarting the game without an internet connection, it starts but I can not play because it asks to logon to my Microsoft account,  which does not work because of no internet. The game will eventually still crash. 

This makes the game no usable without an internet connection.

I tried to look for any crash report files on the phone but could not find any. Please let me know what kind of files or other data I can provide to help to fix this issue.
