When dying after entering a portal (going either way) if you die, all items that drop will despawn instantly.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. Did this happen only once, or are you able to reproduce it? Could you explain in more detail how you died—what was showing on the screen, what was the death message? Exactly where did you look for your items?
