Minecraft for Windows 10 does not appear to load, gets stuck around half way, similar to the previous issue with iOS Edition. The issue does not affect iOS Edition. No error messages are displayed and the 'wave' load animation does work. Could it be linked with Microsoft accounts? (Mentally prays someone from Mojang sees this and tries to fix it).

I am having the same issue and I am on iOS on Windows 10 Edition. Whenever I try to start the game, the grey line only gets to about over halfway across the screen when the wave stops moving and i am kicked onto the home screen. I tried offloading the app then re-downloading it and it did not work. I do not want to delete the app in fear that my realm and worlds will be deleted. Thank you for your hard work fixing bugs.
In IOS edition happens the same. I tried to play yesterday but I had the same issue. I don’t want to delete my worlds
My son had months of local games saved in his Ipad account. All working great.
I created a MS account for him to access a remote server and immediately the game no longer launches.
tried offline/aeroplane mode - nothing seems to work to get back into Mine-craft to disable the online login which is crashing the game.
On another ipad also working ive replicated the problem. I had to entirely delete the app (and all saved games) re-installing the app then worked. Again as soon as I logged into the Online account (I also tried adding the XBOX live app) that also crashes Minecraft on startup. (interestingly Minecraft on the Ipad saw that xbox was logged in and didnt need authentication to switch to the online account)
We need a way to stop the app trying to login to MS to hopefully restore access to the local saved games.
I also tried offloading the app and re-loading - no change. I think we need to alter the attempt to login to Microsoft - ie just run local.
Interesting it has the same behavior if you disable networking on the iPad.
It did seem to work the first I connected to the account as it says you dont have the access multiplayer games enabled. As soon as you enable that its dead.
