The Bug
When connecting repeaters to redstone dust, then that restone dust connecting to a comparator connecting to a lectern, that redstone skips the signal strength on 14. Ruining builds.
To reproduce:
Connect a comparator to a lectern. Make sure it faces opposing it.
Place down 15 redstone dust in a row. Do the same for the torches and repeaters. Repeaters come after the dust then the torches.
Label a book with numbers 1-15. Make sure to start a new row of pages otherwise it will fail, and one number per page.
Watch or have someone watch the repeaters.
→ ❌ The lectern skips the strength of 14, even though you are on page 14.

I've tested in all directions and with a different set-up similar to yours but have consistently only skipped 14. I've added another attachment that shows all torches instead of just the ones at the end.

If there is an easier build to make, please let me know and tell me how to build it. I will then update the description for the easier build.
Hi Nicholas,
Thanks for the report.
I've just reproduced this myself however I noted that page 7 increased the power level by 2 rather than 1 and page 13 did the same (leading to power output 15 by page 13). Is this the same for you or was it only the last page?
