Fire Resistance doesn't work for lava inside cauldron

Summary:
When a strider or a player with Fire Resistance stands inside a cauldron with lava, the player/strider still takes damage from the lava.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place a cauldron.

  2. Place lava inside the cauldron.

  3. Drink a Fire Resistance potion.

  4. Stand inside the cauldron in Survival mode or spawn a strider/blaze/zombified piglin inside the cauldron.

Observed Results:
The player/strider takes damage from the lava.

Expected Results:
The player/strider should be immune to the damage from the lava.

Fire resistance doesn’t protect it, but the gamerule firedamage does prevent the damage when set to false, also netherite items don’t get destroyed by the lava. This seems to only affect the fire resistance effect and mobs that immune to fire in general.

This also affects blazes.

This also affects any mobs that have lava resistance, and it doesn't have to be in survival mode.
