Local multiplayer not working on survival and creative!😓

Me and my friend were playing expecting to play MCPE on LAN
But then we couldn't connect! We were on the same wi fi and both our LAN multiplayer buttons were on.
Steps to Reproduce:
1 We did LAN multiplayer and its not working. We can't connect! Maybe you can fix it....
