I was trying to create an auto-smelter in my survival world but for the fuel hopper I accidentally put in my x64 stack of iron in my smoker.I thought "oh, it will go straight to the chest" I checked the chest. nothing. and just like that, I lost x30 blocks of iron
which is VERY INFURIATING

If it goes in the fuel hopper, then it would go in the fuel slot, meaning it would end up inside the furnace.
Neither iron ore, nor iron ingots, nor iron blocks, nor iron nuggets, will go into the fuel slot of a smoker. If you put them in a hopper pointing into the side of a smoker, they would just sit there forever.
