So I decided late one night to purchase a texture pack called Hattoricraft from the ps4 minecraft store. Only for upon loading it in a new world for it to crash my game ...too tired to bother
I head to sleep and when I return from work this morning I come back on and look at my packs to see [attached pictures] ....I'm not even sure what went wrong with it....I would also like to point out in one instance of trying to load up the texture pack I noted that there were purple shapes before it crashed as well as my mass effect texture pack's name is gone for some reason

Just bought Hattoricraft on PS4. We've got the same issue. First time it crash, subsequent attempts resulted in the screen turning purple and black before crashing.
Tried loading it on x64 instead of x128. Still crashed. Also tried turning fancy graphics on. Still crashed.
It's ridiculous for paid content to be unusable like this.
According to support this problem is due to a bad download.
Quote: “The black and pink means the game can’t find that texture. Unfortunately if the user has a bad internet connection, it may take multiple tries of downloading the pack before the user gets a download that works because the file size is so big.
If the user has ADSL, it could take 20 or more tries, unfortunately. Downloading on those lines is particularly bad for games, speaking from experience.“
The solution is to delete the texture pack from your storage (under settings) and then redownload it from the store.
Please launch the Minecraft app and try this:
1. Go to settings
2. Go to Storage
3. Select Resource Packs
4. Select Hattoricraft -> then press the trash can
5. Redownload Hattoricraft from the Marketplace
