According to support this problem is due to a bad download.
Quote: “The black and pink means the game can’t find that texture. Unfortunately if the user has a bad internet connection, it may take multiple tries of downloading the pack before the user gets a download that works because the file size is so big. If the user has ADSL, it could take 20 or more tries, unfortunately. Downloading on those lines is particularly bad for games, speaking from experience.“
The solution is to delete the texture pack from your storage (under settings) and then redownload it from the store.
Please launch the Minecraft app and try this: 1. Go to settings 2. Go to Storage 3. Select Resource Packs 4. Select Hattoricraft -> then press the trash can 5. Redownload Hattoricraft from the Marketplace
