I searched for a village using the command / locate and it took me to the middle of the desert

Exist also village in the desert the command /locate locate you the nearer village that can be in every biom

I know, but there is only sand without a village

Please provide the seed and location you ran the locate command.

This happened to me also, but a ruined portal in a cave system but no portal

Minecraft Bedrock v1.16.20.50 Beta has this issue. I have a seed created in v1.14. The /locate bastionremenant returns x=360 z=72. No bastion appears in that location. I used the /Fill command replacing the netherrack with air. The area in the OW and Nether has never been explored.
