Ever time I go to smelt the gold ore it doesn't work, but i can smelt the iron ore so it confuses me. I would just want you to look at it and try to fix it if you can.

I'm playing on Xbox 360 and I can't smelt Gold Blocks either. In fact I can't smelt Iron Blocks. I tried Sand Blocks to see if it would make glass but I'm not sure about that one. Nothing happened anyway.
Is this a glitch?
