The chicken drops raw chicken.
Expected Results:
The chicken should drop cooked chicken.
Original Description:
Made and auto-chicken farm in survival. Drops uncooked chicken rather then cooked chicken. Recreated in creative mode and used spawn eggs in dispenser with same result. Adult chickens also take long time to register damage by lava.

I have the same issue

I think that the hopper is taking the item before the lava has time to cook the food. This happens to me with my semi-auto fishing farm for Minecraft Bedrock. Maybe try to add a piston system to the farm.

Wasn't there a change recently to fix mobs floating while they are riding other mobs? Could that have impacted the chicken's hitbox?

I just reported the same issue and then found this one :/ I hope it gets fixed

This appears to be because the chicken isn't burning, it's actually drowning and for whatever reason doesn't get the chance to burn, proof being in time it takes for a grown chicken to die in water versus the farm, it's identical.

Lol Just reporte this to, dindt found this post on the first search... Well, they are getting drown instead of burning. For cow, had to make a semi auto farm, using a lever on the dispenser to Burn the cows.
Note: u need to be fast or the lava will Burn the Meat/leather.
Note2: the dispenser needs to be at a ground so it can hit the body instead of the head.
I believe this is a parity issue with Java Edition.
