I play in an 1-8 person server on mobs are spawning. The game is on normal, there are no cheats on, and there are no world prefrences on. There are still peaceful mobs spawning such as sheep, and cows, and there are still mobs spawning in the end and nether. I dont know why any hostile mobs wont spawn but it messes up our game in getting experiance, and trying to play minecraft. Thank you for reading this!

This report says version 1.14.60, while MCPE-78266 says 1.16.0.61 beta. There are significant difference in how despawning works between these versions, so I think we should keep the reports separate.
Is this a problem for everyone on the server, in every location, or just is some locations?
It could be that the monster cap is full in areas that you frequent. This could be due to a collection of mobs in one place, such as a small pool or cave.
