Mobs not spawning in the overworld

How would we do that?

Sometimes when I open the world or travel a little amount of mobs spawn. But this is very rare. Once you stay on a place for a while you will notice nothing will spawn anymore.

I was following up this ticket based on the affectVersion indicating it is an issue in the current beta version. Your world has not been played in the beta, so it isn't relevant to this ticket. However, it's clear what your problem is. The game has a global mob cap of 200 mobs, which means that if 200 mobs are loaded in simulated chunks then no natural spawning will occur. Nothing is spawning around your base because you have over 400 chickens in the area. Most of these are concentrated in the 2 auto-hatching machines you've made, each of which have about 200 chickens in them. I suggest you set up a system with a small number of egg-layers, and either have an auto-kill mechanism or a shut-off mechanism to keep the number of hatched chickens lower.

I am having this report set to "Awaiting Response" based on not having enough information to tell what is going on in the OP's world. The report will automatically reopen when it is updated. If the issue is massive animal farms blocking other spawns, like Luca Perrone's, then there is no need to respond as this is not a bug.
