[Fixed] Invisibible players cannot provoke skeletal mobs when hitting/shooting them, unless they are already hostile

The bug

Attempting to provoke any skeletal mobs causes them to stay neutral unless they are targeting another entity.

Steps to reproduce:

Step 1: Drink an invisibility potion.

Step 2: Find any skeletal mobs.

Step 3: Hit/shoot it it.

→ ❌ The listed entites do not go hostile.

Update: Does not happen on 1.16. If a developer sees this, close the issue as fixed please.

This bug is fixed in the latest beta version, and the fix will be included in a future update when that is ready for full release (no specific date can be given). We will leave this ticket open as a point of reference until the fix has been fully released.

I will be making a separate bug report for endemites, this has been fixed for skeletal mobs.

This should be closed. Completely fixed in 1.16.0.
