I've noticed that when spawning striders on blocks other than lava, they flash pink for a moment. Apparently the have to quickly adjust their texture to shiver. This looks rather odd, maybe you could make it so that when they are spawned they immediately take on a warm or cold texture depending on the block you place them. It's not really a bug, but it looks kind of odd.
